Febco

Model

876(or 876V)

The Febco 876 and 876V are double check detector assemblies (DCDA). They were available in 2 1/2″-10″ sizes and were produced from 1993-2014. Their bodies were made of epoxy coated ductile iron. The 876 was an “N” shaped device while the 876V utilized a grooved coupling in the body for either an “N” pattern or “Z” pattern installation but the internal components are the same. The 876 utilized a 3/4″ 805YB for the bypass assembly. Two lead free versions are in production. The 876VST began production in 2011 and the LF876V began production in 2014. The 876 and 876V mainline bodies are visually identical to the 876VST and LF876V but the parts do not interchange.
