Johnathon Cotton started his career with American Backflow Products in April of 2003. His initial position was receiving clerk and delivery driver. In October of 2003, he was promoted to Inventory Control where he quickly became proficient at purchasing and warehouse management. His next opportunity presented itself in March 2005 to move into a customer service position. It was in this position he learned of his passion to help people.“I really enjoy working with our customers. It is always a good feeling when you can help a customer with a problem and save the day. We are lucky to have the customers that are loyal and appreciative of the small things we do to help enhance their experience with us.”He was promoted to Customer Service Director in January of 2012. Johnathon‘s experience within several departments enables him to provide great customer service because of his intimate knowledge of the operations side of the company. His positive attitude and unparalleled work ethic continue to be a driving force for our team. Johnathon became a University of Florida TREEO Certified Tester in 2005 and enjoys using his expertise to help our customers in our technical department. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and two children, Jacob and Riley. He also enjoys working around the house and spending Saturday’s in the fall watching the University of Alabama and Florida State play football.
Mike Mihalich started his career with American Backflow Products in 2014. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL and attended Tallahassee Community College. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his three daughters.
Laura Lea started her career at American Backflow Products in 2014. She earned an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration at Tallahassee Community College in 2013. The favorite part of the job at American Backflow for Laura Lea is the relationships she builds with customers from all parts of the country. She really enjoys helping customers with technical issues in the field. Outside of work, Laura Lea is an avid horse lover and enjoys hunting, fishing and working on her family farm with her husband and daughter.
Mike “Mitch” Mitchell started his career with American Backflow Products in 2015. He was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio and studied Business at Wilmington College in Ohio. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1992 and is happily married with three daughters. As well as working for American Backflow Mitch has been with FedEx Express for 28 years. His hobbies include football, hunting and Nascar. He has been a football official for all levels from Pop Warner all the way up to Arena football. He has officiated four high school state championship games in the state of Florida as well.
Ammie Bodiford started her career with American Backflow Products in 2016. She is a native of Tallahassee, FL where she graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In her free time, Ammie enjoys spending time with family, as well as photography, hunting and fishing.
Ryan started his career with American Backflow Products in 2017. Ryan finds his passion in helping customers be prepared to maximize their business potential. Originally from Palm Bay, FL, Ryan wanted a change of scenery, and thus transferred to Florida State University in 2014. He graduated with his bachelor’s in Business Management in the spring of 2017. One of Ryan’s most prized accomplishments was learning how to make his own high school class ring. A firm believer of learning new skills, Ryan also has endeavored into several woodworking projects. In effort to maintain an active lifestyle, Ryan enjoys road biking, camping, hammocking, and nearly anything else outdoors.
Nikki Thomas started her career with American Backflow Products in 2017. She was raised in Quincy, FL and is happily married with one daughter and one son. She enjoys doing beauty pageants with her daughter, spending time with her family and helping others.
Stephen started his career at American Backflow Products in 2008 in the shipping and receiving department. He left after nearly 2 years to pursue his education. Stephen returned to our customer service team in 2018 after earning his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Florida State University and working in the banking industry. Stephen enjoys spending his time off work with his daughter Kaelyn, staying active in sports, and rooting for the FSU Seminoles.
Haley started her career at American Backflow Products in 2019. She was born and raised in Havana, FL and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Flagler College. Haley married her best friend in 2018, and while they don't have any kids yet, they have a wide variety of pets at home. She really enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with her friends and family.
Victoria Huber started her career at American Backflow Products in 2018 as an Inventory Specialist in our Warehouse before transitioning to her current position as a Customer Service Representative. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband and daughters. She spends most of her time riding through the woods, fishing, going to the zoo and aquarium with her daughters and riding motorcycles with her husband.
Junior Ramos started his career with American Backflow Products in 2019. He started as a national sales rep, and then moved into our customer service department. He has quickly learned to appreciate the passion of our staff for this industry and the friendly nature of the relationships built with the customers. Junior is a Tallahassee native and enjoys spending his free time going on adventures with his wife, son, and two dogs.
Jenna Winkler started her career with American Backflow Products in 2019. She was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and graduated from Lincoln High school in 2015. She enjoys spending her free time with her daughter Harper and being outdoors. Her favorite part about her job is introducing our company to people and creating a long lasting relationship with customers.
Doug Taylor started his career with American Backflow Products in 2003 as a Customer Service Specialist and has been the National Sales Manager since 2007. He graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has been UF TREEO certified since 2005 and uses his technical knowledge and expert guidance to help customers in our technical department. Doug co-authors the “Repair Guys” Article found each month in the Drinking Water and Backflow Prevention Magazine with Mark Inman. Doug has been happily married since 2009 and is the proud father of three daughters.
Jennifer Callaghan started her career with American Backflow Products in 2016 in our Sales Department. She moved to Tallahassee from South Florida to pursue her bachelor’s degree and graduated in 2016 from Flagler College with a major in Communications. Jennifer has worked in inside and outside sales before transitioning to her current position, Marketing Coordinator, and she is the first woman to become UF TREEO backflow certified within the company. She loves the team that surrounds her and values being able to make an impact on others when it comes to water and life safety. Jennifer enjoys spending her time away from work traveling to new places and visiting family and friends as much as possible.
Jennifer Segler started her career January of 2020. A native of Tallahassee, FL., she is proud to work for a family owned and operated business and believes she has found her home at American Backflow Products. Jennifer has 15 years of combined customer service and sales experience. She enjoys making connections with existing customers and building new relationships with potential customers across the US. She values family and friends, enjoys the outdoors, loves the Florida coast and any opportunity she has to travel.
Jason started his career at American Backflow Products in 1997. He originally started working in the warehouse eventually moving up to counter sales as his product knowledge grew. He eventually moved into backflow sales helping customers over the phone. Jason left the company in 2007 to enter into the construction industry and also served some time with a water well company who specialized in drilling large municipal wells throughout the Southeast. In July of 2014 he returned to help develop a division of American Backflow that would focus on Automatic Control Valve replacement parts. He has been UF TREEO certified since 1998 and uses his extensive industry knowledge to help customers in our technical department. In his spare time Jason enjoys saltwater fishing, cooking and a little golf from time to time.
John Sloniker started his career with America Backflow Products in 2012. He started in our receiving department and was promoted to Purchasing Manager in 2013. In 2016 he joined our Automatic Control Valve division where he enjoys helping customers with their needs. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Andrew Inman started his career with American Backflow Products in 2016. He started as a warehouse assistant, and then moved into our calibration department. In 2017 he moved into our Automatic Control Valve division where he strives to help our customers with any questions or concerns they might have. He is a Tallahassee native and is currently enrolled in the business program at Florida State University. In his free time he enjoys going to FSU football and baseball games, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
Sean Powell started his career with American Backflow Products in 2020. He is a native of Tallahassee, FL and has played baseball since he learned to walk. He graduated from Leon High School and studied Business Marketing at Tallahassee Community College. Sean enjoys meeting new people and helping them solve their problems. In his free time Sean enjoys boating and fishing with a little golf mixed in.
Tom Jones started his career with American Backflow Products in 2015. He was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Robert F. Munroe in 2013. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Flagler College. He has been UF TREEO certified since 2017. He enjoys hanging out with family and friends, riding in the woods, and watching college football.
Chris Ashburn started his career with American Backflow Products in 2016. Chris has worked in multiple departments before settling down in the Calibration Department. While not at work he enjoys aquascaping, working out, and enjoying family time with his wife and two sons.
Jody Bedgood started his career with American Backflow Products in 2014. He was born in Quincy, Florida. He has been married for 21 years to his wife, Nicki and has two children, Logan & Madison. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Nascar, college football and fishing. He graduated from Greensboro High School in 1995 and spent four years in the Air Force. Jody enjoys speaking with and getting to know all of our customers.
Matthew Racki started his career at American Backflow in 2016. Matthew was born in South Carolina, but as a young child lived in Iwakuni, Japan and later moved to Florida in 2004. Matthew started as an accounting assistant and then became the Purchasing Manager. He currently works in the accounting department as Accounts Payable Manager. He enjoys kayaking as well as fishing, and loves to spend time with his family.
Lexi Singletary started her career at American Backflow in 2015. She was born in Tallahassee, Florida and is currently enrolled in Flagler College where she is working to finish her B.A. degree in Elementary and Special Education. In her free time, Lexi enjoys going to FSU football games, and spending time with her family and friends.
Staige Harvard started with American Backflow Products in 2020 as a national sales rep, but shortly after moved into the accounting department as Accounts Receivable. He is a native of Tallahassee, FL. In his free time, Staige and his wife, Krista, try to travel as much as possible. He enjoys outdoor activities like rock climbing and hiking, but has a passion for video games and working on computers.
Kyle Conrad started his career with American Backflow Products in 2013. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Flagler College. Kyle has over 15 years of experience working in logistic. He is married with 4 children and 2 grandchildren. His hobbies include building computers, woodworking projects, and driving his Honda Type-R.
Brian Evanson started his career with American Backflow Products in 2018. He grew up in Clearwater, Florida and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor’s in Social Sciences in 2005. Brian has been married for 12 years to his wife, Leah, and has four incredible children, Carmen, Morgan, Garrett and Caleb. Brian spends his free time actively involved with his church and Cub Scouts with his sons.
Nathan Harmon started his career with American Backflow Products in 2013 as a Customer Service Specialist and was promoted to Pricing Manager in 2015. He is a native of Crawfordville, FL and earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Flagler College. Nathan has been a UF TREEO certified tester since 2017 and uses his knowledge to help customers in our technical department.
Patrick Tebo started his career with American Backflow Products in 2016 as a Customer Service Representative. After graduating with an accounting degree in 2018, Patrick moved to the Pricing Department where he focuses on Ecommerce sales and pricing maintenance. Outside of work, he enjoys analyzing baseball stats, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Mark Inman started his career with American Backflow Products in 1986 and is the Chief Operating Officer. He has been a UF TREEO certified backflow tester since 1988 and has held his backflow repair and maintenance certification from TREEO since 1990. When TREEO offered the Advanced Backflow Assembly Tester certification in 2007, Mark was one of the first to get certified. His extensive knowledge and expertise have made him a widely recognized authority in our industry. Mark co-authors the “Repair Guys” article found each month in Drinking Water and Backflow Prevention Magazine and is often asked to speak at industry trade shows and conferences. Despite his busy schedule he enjoys helping customers solve even the most troublesome repair issues. Mark is happily married and enjoys spending time with his family.
